PVE Dubai supplies cranes for the construction of Jumana Island Dubai
Meraas Development has again contracted Van Oord to build an island in the emirate of Dubai. Jumana Island will lie 500 meters off the coast and will be used for urban development. The project involves dredging of sand from the sea bed, reclaiming the island as well as reclamation of the beaches. Work on the project has started and completion is scheduled for the end of 2013.
PVE Dubai is supplying Kobelco and Sumitomo crawler cranes, which are used with vibroflots for soil improvement.
