PVE supplied their Liebherr LR1300 for a new project in Iceland.
PVE Cranes delivered a 300t Liebherr LR1300 to Iceland to construct the Fossvogur Bridge (Alda). This bridge is a 270-meter-long, car-free bridge under construction in Reykjavík, Iceland, designed to connect Kársnes in Kópavogur with Fossvogur in Reykjavík, improving public transit and active mobility.
Scheduled for completion around 2028, it will serve as a key component of the Borgarlínan BRT system, dedicated to buses, pedestrians, and cyclists.
It will also feature viewing spaces called “álfasteinar” (fairy stones).
